California City Differences In Accessibility

I moved down to Los Angeles from Northern California for work. As an older adult now in my 50’s I have noticed aspects of a city that apply to me. I have not seen too many pneumatic elevators los angeles area but I had gotten used to them in the Humboldt area up north. What I have seen more of are stair lifts los angeles because they are more cost effective for getting the job done of transporting individuals up and down a flight or flights of stairs. It is my opinion though that the pneumatic elevators will really take off this decade for they offer an appealing sleek design. Where I have seen them before is in homes but I don’t see why they couldn’t be installed in smaller, commercial offices. At first I did not know the name of those types of elevators, but they are the vacuum, tube-like elevators that are transparent on all sides. They look elegant, modern and sleek while taking up less room in a home or place of business. I have taken notice of three different sized pneumatic elevators; a small version that ideally holds one person, a medium sized one that is a bit larger in diameter ideal for two people, and a third that holds over 500 pounds that a person in a wheelchair can easily access in and out of. It all of course depends on the needs of the people who will be using it as well as the floor plan to a certain extent for what the structure can support.
