Best Drama Series, Pavitra Rishta

Pavitra Rishta is a well-known drama series in India. Aired on Zee TV, the program gained many awards, including the 2010 Seoul International Drama Awards for Best Drama Series. Popular as it is, various Pavitra Rishta wallpapers are available featuring the faces of the male and female lead, as well as some screenshots from the soap itself. The story unfolds with Archana, a middle-class woman in Maharashtra, whose mother has always wanted for her to settle down and marry a decent and educated man who can adequately support her and their future family. She meets Manav, a kind-hearted guy who strives hard to provide for his family. The two then fell in love with each other. Against numerous obstacles that they have to face involving their relationship, their families and the bitter side of reality, they still endure embracing their love for each other. Indeed, Pavitra Rishta proves that the popular cliche, “Love conquers all”, is true beyond any possible doubt.
