Major Satellite TV Providers Do a Good Job

If you are debating whether to sign up for satellite TV service, you will no doubt want to compare satellite TV providers. Of course in the United States this means Dish Network and Directv. For full disclosure, this author has been a subscriber with Dish for well over ten years. I have found their service to be excellent, and whenever I have had a question or problem they have competent people who resolve the issue. Not long ago my remote wore out, and they just sent me another for free. I have no reason to believe that Dirctv is not responsive as well. Both companies are typically rated high in customer satisfaction surveys. A thorough satellite TV comparison would tell you that both companies have similar entry level packages based on the number of channels you will receive. Neither makes you purchase any additional equipment, as everything necessary is included along with free installation. In general Dish has been slightly less expensive.
