Looking at Satellite TV Programming Options

The number of satellite TV channels you choose to subscribe to will determine your monthly bill for your satellite TV programming. Both of the two major satellite TV providers have packages based on the number of channels you want to receive. They offer fairly low entry rates, and then these go up to their normal charges after about a year. In general Dish Network is a bit less expensive than Directv. Both of these providers have come up with special programming packages they emphasize. Dish specializes in movies and shows as well as foreign language channels. In fact that is why this author dropped cable and subscribed to Dish about 12 years ago. We used to live in France, and I wanted to get the French channel TV5 and watch the news each day, which I still do. Directv has a very successful NFL football package thst is popular. A subscriber can see just about every pro game during the season and can even view up to 8 games on one screen. Sounds like a party!
