Since the launch of GPS navigators years ago, road travel has become a breeze. In fact, travelers no longer fear getting lost in unknown territory with their trusted GPS navigator and commuters get to avoid traffic congestions and get to their destinations ahead of time.

And while most commuters do fine with regular GPS navigators, there are many others who would prefer to have a more hardy device and Garmin has decided to cater to this niche market.

The Garmin Dakota 10 aims to cater to consumers who wish to have a GPS device that does it all. Its features include Blue Chart g2 marine maps, HotFix satellite acquisition technology, 850mb of storage space and Google Earth. While it has a rather reasonable price tag and a long battery life, it does not own a touchscreen.

The Garmin Dakota 20, on the other hand, features a 2.6-inch touchscreen display amongst features such as a microSD card slot for optional extra storage on top of the features of the Garmin Dakota 10. This is definitely a GPS navigator to check out.
