Injury of James on Tribe Member’s Minds
Tonight on Episode 6 of CBS Reality TV show of Survivor, we see a double eviction (probably because CBS refused to air the show last week due to broadcasting the college basketball games). The fact that on the Survivor Heroes vs. Villains, the villains tribe continues to win competitions and this has been very upsetting to the Heroes Tribe. So when it came down to who should go at tribal council, it was obvious a test for James was needed to be made because the tribe was in disagreement.
A race on foot was staged between James and JT on the beach. James removed his knee brace, and went for it. But in the end, James lost big time. JT even ran backwards right before the finish line to proof how easy his win was against James.
Then there was the complaint that James was eating 6 bananas a day, and never offers them to other tribe members. It was said he lacks proper tribal “Etiquette”.
On the other hand, Colby, who use to win competitions all the time, is lagging way behind this season. Is he getting too old? At least that is what his tribe members are accusing him of, with some wanting Colby gone.
The bottom line is that the Heroes needed to start winning, which is why at Tribal Council James ended up being voted off. And, I would have to agree with their decision. An injured member will only hold them all back. I mean after all, they are competing for one million dollars and not the “nice guy award”.
We will see if this at all helps them to win next week.
Tyson Goes Home
Well, Tyson just didn’t get it. To trust Russell will get you sent home. When Russ tells Tyson he is voting out Parvati, Tyson believes him and changes his vote to her.
At Tribal Council, Russell did a bold and risky move by giving up the Immunity Idol to Parvati. This saved Parvati from going home, who had the majority of votes. Second place for votes were Tyson, which Russell knew he had to trust his people to put down Tyson’s name.
Was this a stupid move by Russ? Not really, as the Suvivor game is partly about trust of your alliance. If that is ever broken for whatever reason, then you might as well be voted off the island. It is just too hard to go it alone.
But now Boston Rob is really steamed at Russell, who was clever and bold enough to blow out Rob’s closest Alliance buddy, Tyson. We also know that Boston Rob played on Survivor back when there were NO hidden immunity idols. These idols can be used in all sorts of strategies, and Russell is the master of these strats. With Boston Rob and Russell at each other’s throats, it is making for an interesting show. It really all comes down to either winning immunity challenges or finding Immunity Idols on the beach.
Can Russell do a repeat performance? We will just have to wait and see.
