Rap artist Lil Wayne performed the song “Tie My Hands†at the Grammy Awards on February 9, 2009. He received more nominations than any other artist or band this year with a total of 8. Lil Wayne has been nominated for Grammy Awards in other years, but has yet to win a coveted Gramophone trophy.
