Tips On How To Be An American Idol Winner

If you ever watched the movie “Gladiator” then you remember the scene where the owner of the gladiators told Maximus that it is not about winning, but how you win that will win him his freedom. You need to be memorable to become a champion. That is your first and most important tip that I can give you. For every American Idol audition and competition you are in, always ensure that your performance is memorable. I can’t stress this enough. How many times have you watched the American Idol performances only to forget them minutes later? Trust me on this, you don’t want to be that performer. You want to be the American Idol contestant who when he or she is done with your performance, the audience goes “Wow! Who is that?” And, if the audience is saying that, you know the judges are thinking it also. Being memorable in no way means that you have to rush out and dye your hair purple or wear unusually large sunglasses and do back flips while you perform. Rather it means that you need to make the audience care, show them that you care about them by pouring your heart and soul into your performance, by letting it all out and leaving nothing behind, you will make them interested in who you are and what you are singing. If you simply walk out onto that stage looking lost and terrified while you sing for a few minutes, you and your American Idol audition will be quickly forgotten. If you come out like you are already the American Idol winner and have a lot of fun while singing a song you love, they will remember you.
