The Rocky Horror Show is coming to Berlin

On 29th of October the new production of ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ will celebrate its world premier in the Admiralspalast in Berlin. Until the 23rd of November you will have the chance to see the musical which is one of the most famous musicals in world history, right in the capital of Germany.
The musical was premiered in London on the 16th of June 1973 and since then ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ has been visited by more than 20 million visitors in more than 30 countries. The producer is Englishman Richard O´Brien who participated in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and ‘Hair’.
Furthermore, the film version, with Meat Loaf singer and Susan Sarandon was a great success and it was seen by millions of people. Now, O´Brien thinks it is time to refresh the story about the engaged couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss who have to stay in a remote castle after their car broke down. Here they see an abundance of weird things and happenings. Tickets are already available from 22 euros, but careful as a lot of them are already sold out.
After Berlin the show will move on to Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Vienna and Zurich.
You should definitely go and see ‘The Rocky Horror Show’! Nowadays, it is one of the best loved classics and thousands of people are crazy about it no matter how many times they’ve already seen it. The good thing is, for the small percentage that didn’t like the original version, this new chapter for the musical offers them the chance to fall in love with it for the first time, and for those deep down fans, to fall in love all over again. There will be some props for the audience to participate actively during the show…..which every single show will have a different twist! Of course, there will be nothing more told about the show in advance, so you’ll just have to see it for yourself.
Why don’t you combine your visit to the show with a short city break?! But you should book your tickets for the musical quickly as they are already beginning to sell out.
