One of the longest running and earliest hits was a brilliant comedy which ran from 1951-1961, called the I Love Lucy Show. Who didn’t love Lucille Ball as the red headed girl next door that continuously had us laughing hysterically at her screwball antics. Also starring in this top TV show was Lucille Ball’s real-life husband Desi Arnaz who was Ricky Ricardo in the show. The comedy centered around the antics of Lucy, who wanted to be anything but an ordinary housewife. Along with her neighbors, Fred and Ethel Mertz of whom she would constantly tricked into helping her, Lucy would persistently plot to join her Cuban bandleader husbands band.
