Carmen Electra – Has She Found Her Niche In Comedy?

As a Hollywood actress, Carmen Electra has appeared in a number of very funny movies, where her sense of humor and timing serves her well for specializing in spoofs and parodies of the “Airplane” mold of comedy. Carmen Electra portrayed the role of Drew Decker in the horror spoof, Scary Movie, which was released in 2000. In Scary Movie 4, which was released in 2006, Carmen would play an entirely different character. In the 2004 movie of Starsky and Hutch starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, which was a spoof on the 1970s super popular TV show of the same name. Carmen was hired to play the part of Staci for which she won an MTV Movie Award for her acting performance in this film. Carmen Electra has also appeared in such films as Good Burger (1997), and The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999). In the Date Movie, she played Anne in a movie which satirized romantic comedies. In Epic Movie Carmen played the X-Men character, Mystique. Epic Movie was a movie that spoofed many different films. In 2008, more satire followed when Carmen Electra played the part of Queen Margo in the film, Meet the Spartans.
