Skype knows how to prevent the 2nd Mistake

The “2nd Mistake” is no follow-up after last week’s day long outage. Skype has made a masterful move within the art of customer service. Here is what they said: “As a goodwill gesture to all you faithful Skype Pro, Skype Unlimited, SkypeIn or Skype Voicemail customers, we’re adding an additional seven days to your current subscription, free of charge. And even if you didn’t miss out on using Skype last week – you can still have a week free on Skype, on the house!”

Now that is the kind of move that will keep Skype strong for the long haul. When has AT&T, Sprint or Verizon ever sent you a “Sorry” notice when you have experienced an outage more or less an actual goodwill gesture that is meaningful?!

Go Skype in 2007 and beyond!
