Movie Director Giving Films The Cut

Once I had qualified and graduated from film school it took around three years before I actually was able to contribute any input into the editorial aspects of movie production. I was hired to do very menial jobs up till then. Some of the jobs I performed were helping set up the movie sets, running different types of errands, arranging meetings and other things of that nature. There were several times I had gotten to the point of despair and nearly choose to pack it in and call it quits. Even after three years of solid work I was still no closer to having the job as movie director. But that is when my luck started changing for the better.
