Does Video Game Testing Pay Well?

The process of video game testing is grueling. Countless hours of repetition and frustration for what maybe 10-20 dollars an hour to start? For some people video game testing sounds like a dream job. For me, I look at it as a way to get familiar with the industry while I am going to school for a degree in game design. A job as a game designer or game artist is so much more appealing to me. I mean who wants to work in a crowded room with 20 other testers doing the same thing day in and day out. I’ll be looking forward to a better career in the game industry.
