Do Movie Reviews Decide Which Movie You Will See?

When you hear or read the movie reviews, do they affect your decision to head off to the local movie theater and watch a film? I was wondering just how much influence movie critics have on our decisions. How often do we read their movie reviews and go to a movie we didn’t want to see in the first place? Do those high-paid movie critics and their opinions on new movie releases make your decisions for you? Conversely, how many individuals fail to see films they intended to see because of movie reviews that said the movie wasn’t worth the price of a theater ticket? Professional movie reviewer’s will deter people from ever seeing a film, but they will also have the opposite effect if they give the movie a stellar movie review. Sadly, because we have faith in their education regarding film, we tend to listen to what these critics have to say.
